Meet Nicole!

With over 15 years of experience in expert dog training, I’ve helped dog and puppy owners get started on the right foot to build a happy, balanced life with their dogs from day one. My approach focuses on building trust with dogs, as I believe that a strong relationship is foundational for effective training. I emphasize trust, respect, and clear communication so your dog understands you and wants to work alongside you. I employ a balanced training style that combines positive reinforcement to teach new, desired behaviors with fair and gentle guidance to navigate through unwanted ones. Every dog is unique, which is why I tailor the training to fit each dog and owner as a cohesive team. Puppy Training

Your puppy's window for foundational learning is wide open — and it doesn't stay that way. In just four weeks, you could have a puppy who understands you, sleeps through the night, and keeps their teeth to themselves. This crucial period is essential for dog socialization and building trust with dogs, laying the groundwork for expert dog training.

Puppy Kindergarten (4 weeks)

Your puppy is adorable, but they might also be chewing the couch, peeing on the rug, and treating your ankles like a chew toy. Both things are true. Puppy Pre-K is where the chaos gets a curriculum focused on dog socialization. These first weeks are your puppy's golden window, the stretch where their brain is soaking up everything about how the world works and how humans work. What they learn now sticks, especially when it comes to building trust with dogs. So let's make sure they're learning the good stuff. This course covers expert dog training essentials like crate and potty training, nipping, recall, and play.

Puppy secondary (4 weeks)

Your puppy has mastered the basics at home; they recognize their name, have developed a communication system, and the potty situation is well managed. However, when you take them to the park, it feels like none of that training ever took place. This isn't a sign of training failure—it's just a normal aspect of dog socialization. Dogs often don’t generalize as we expect them to. Now that your pup is fully vaccinated, we can focus on building trust with dogs in the environments where you want those skills to shine. This is where expert dog training comes into play, helping to reinforce what they've learned in new settings.

Private dog training

For Dogs 6 Months & Up Your dog isn't a puppy anymore. They've developed habits now—some great and some you'd like to renegotiate. Our expert dog training services focus on private training, which is one-on-one work tailored entirely around your dog and your lifestyle, instead of fitting your dog into a generic class curriculum. We start by observing what's actually happening, setting a goal that truly matters to you, and building a strategic plan to achieve it. Whether your goal is to enjoy a leash walk that doesn’t wreck your shoulder, have a dog who can nap peacefully under a table at a brewery, or give your pet off-leash freedom, we are committed to building trust with dogs and facilitating effective dog socialization throughout the process.

Loose Leash Walking

Most training programs bury leash work in week four of a general obedience curriculum and give it only twenty minutes. However, loose leash walking is genuinely one of the harder skills to teach, especially in a distracting environment with a dog who has months or years of pulling practice behind them. It is essential for building trust with dogs, as it helps them learn to engage with their handler rather than the environment. This skill deserves dedicated attention. So that's what this program offers: three weeks, one focus, and real repetitions in real environments to ensure that effective dog socialization and expert dog training lead to a new habit that actually sticks.

Brewery & Cafe

Colorado is known for being a dog-friendly state, and you should take advantage of this. This public-access training focuses on building trust with dogs by teaching them to settle on a patio, tuck under a table, ignore the dog three feet away, and stay relaxed while you finish your beer. 


We cover essential aspects of dog socialization, such as place and settle with real duration, maintaining neutrality around people and dogs, patio etiquette, and generalizing calm behavior in loud, busy, distracting environments—all key components of expert dog training.

Advanced & Off-leash E-collar

Built for Colorado, this program is designed for those who want to hike the backcountry with their dogs off-leash, building trust with dogs in the process and ensuring you can trust them out there. 


Properly conditioned e-collar work serves as a communication tool that enhances dog socialization and works over distance, even out of sight, and beyond the range of your voice. When introduced correctly and layered slowly, it actually provides your dog with more freedom rather than less.


We focus on building rock-solid distance recall, directional control, check-ins, and stopping on command through expert dog training.
